Good News Everyone.
Finally.
Two idiots have been suspended (not permanently yet) from my great nation's finest institution, the British Broadcasting Corporation. they are Russell "the student's joke book" Brand and Jonathan "attack anyone better than me, to make up for my speech impediment" Ross.
The pair of cancers on human existence masquerading under moniker of comedians on a radio show found it funny to prank call an old man's answer phone and make allegations about his granddaughter.
You'll be waiting for the punchline a long time.
yes. I still don't get the joke.
the BBC has defended both celebrities and their giant wages, as they want to preserve trailblazing comedians and performers.
I still don't get it
The upset elderly man is none other than Andrew Sachs who played the still hilarious Manuel in the genuine trailblazing comedy Fawlty Towers.
The BBC said the event should not have been broadcast. I think it should have been, but I find their point irrelevant nonetheless. As the offensive act was still performed and whether it was or was not aired doesn't mean a thing to the man at the other end of the phone. The fact that it was broadcasted only exposed the extent of their talent.
Mr Ross, is just annoying. He gets a lot of licence payers money just to be there on telly and allow other celebrities to plug their latest thing that they happen to be doing at the time.
One example was Sir David Attenborough. Regular readers of my blog would know I hold this man in the highest esteem. what would you ask a man that has seen more of the world than anyone else. Surly not "Did you ever rWide one of those big tortoises" as Mr Ross did.
Again, I still Don't get it.
Granted Jonathan Ross realising the severity of the situation apologised nearly instantaneously. Unlike Russell Brand, when approached by the press outside his home the next morning. He swaggered to his waiting vehicle, mumbling "Hare Krishna! Hare Krishna" to every question, as if it was appropriate, respectful or even funny.
Rather than take responsibility for his actions Russell Brand subsequently resigned from his position on BBC Radio2. In a move that screams "You can't fire me! I QUIT" sort of move.
I'm still not getting it.
I would be quite happy for these pair of jesters to leave the BBC and go to another channel if they are are only interested in the money, Mr Brand has a series on channel four starting soon. I'm sure it will be drab but performed with an excited expression making it look better than it actually is.
and I would love to see Friday Night with Johnathan Ross on the new pay per veiw Richard & Judy Channel.
If these people want more money they should move on and sell themselves to other broadcasters. There is plenty more comedic talent out there. The BBC could be a bubbling with new talent again if they were not spending 18 million on a single celebrity.
Mike Soapbox coming to the BBC soon.
